The rain here in Santiago can be intense, though winter precipitation is not near as abundant as it used to be. The wonderful thing about it is after the downpour stops, the neighboring hills and foothills of the Andes mountains are covered in white, just as you see in these photos.
Depending on your mood and interests, you can either go skiing or grab a cup of coffee and enjoy the view.
