Boxaid

It sounds like a Band-Aid, and it really is and more. Most remote computer repair services require you to be located in the US, Boxaid one doesn't. All you need is a computer in need of repair and to be able to speak English.

This is much more than one of those PC fixit programs. Technicians are friendly and they get your computer into shape quickly. They also tell you what software is junk and that you should remove it. In about an hour, your computer should be running better thanks to their help.

They recommend a tune-up every year and charge about USD 60 per hour, which is a good deal when you consider that your computer could crash right in the middle of a translation.
